What are you in business for?

Beyond why you started your business, WHY did you start your business?

Let me explain…

Maybe your WHY was to build a business around a dream or passion, to achieve freedom and financial security, or to change lives through your product or service.

That’s great!

Now, that your business is a living breathing entity…what role will it play in your future?

Will it close when you’re ready to move on or will you try to sell it or pass it down?

Building a legacy or a company that will last beyond you is different than running a business for the purpose of providing an income now. Both are great goals, but the way you build and the focus for growth will be different.

You see, without knowing where you’re going, you don’t know what you’re building or where to focus within your business.

Knowing what you’re in business for — the underlying WHY behind the WHY, will impact the decisions you make along the way.

What does your future hold? You don’t have to know how to get there, but what end game would you like to see for your business?

Are you building something that you want to see lasting in the market, beyond you?

Your business has a purpose of its own. And, knowing what you want to do with it WHEN you are ready to exit, will be invaluable for planning and will improve the options available to you when you’re ready to move on.

This ultimately informs your plans, actions and decisions today.

Planning with the end in mind, will improve the quality of your options. And, if you build it well, your exit could net you a very nice nest egg :).

If these questions are difficult for you to answer now let’s have a conversation. Let’s talk about the longevity and intention behind what you’re growing.

NOW is YOUR time.
