Your time is valuable...but is the time you spend IN your business making IT less valuable?

Did you know that there's a relationship between the value of your business and the time you spend IN your business?

First - what is value to you?

What I hear from my clients is that value means you get to meet your financial expectations through your business.

Value also means that it supports their lifestyle expectations.

And, it fulfills them at a deeper level.

When it comes to your business, value also means how it can be viewed from an outside perspective. Is it valuable to someone else who might purchase your business one day?

Consider this:

What kind of value are you deriving from your business when you are involved in everything? To the point that when you step away, your production halts, your sales slow. When there are customer questions or complaints, do they all come to you?

Does this allow you to achieve your financial and lifestyle expectations? Does it feel fulfilling? Or are you exhausted, need a vacation and not hitting your sales targets?

From an outsiders perspective, if you are trying to decide whether to purchase business A, where everything goes through the owners, ie. things slow or unravel when they’re away, or Company B where the business functions well whether the owner is in or not….which would you buy?

This is the relationship between your time and the value of your business.

Even if you have no desire to sell your business, the value to YOU and your family is important. I want to see you achieving your financial goals, loving and living life in your business. For that to happen a few foundations need to be put into place.

It’s open and available to you.

I would love to hear about where you feel you spend too much time in your business and where you you don’t spend enough.

What do you think? Ready to get started?

NOW is YOUR time.
