From chaotic and exhausted to routine and growth…

I want to share a story about a business owner who was consistently feeling behind the eight ball…Always feeling 2 steps behind each week.

She was growing but everything was chaotic and she was exhausted.

She was struggling to deliver her services to her clients and grow her business - She was engaged in most of the business development, dealt with many of the clients and was the primary contact for any customer service issue.

She was onboarding a new team member yet because she was still a small business of only six, she was still wearing many hats each day.

Then, after working together, she was able to turn things around.

How?

By Ritualizing her Routine

Through the chaos of her days and weeks, no day was the same. However, when we really dove in, there were many things that had to be done each day or week without fail. Some she was doing anyway and some she wanted to be doing more of. She created a routine to her weeks so she wasn’t always at the mercy of what came up each day but created some predictability to her days. She structured her weeks to prioritize things like team meetings and check-ins at the same time and day each week, consistent time for focussed work and consistent time to meet with her clients, ensuring there was space for the important things. Even scheduling regular breaks became more routine. There became a flow and ritual to her work that brought increased peace and routine for her - in a good way.

By Focussing her hiring on areas that lightened her tasks

As she made her next hires, she focussed on hiring for the areas where she still had the responsibility of many of the tasks in the business. From customer service to business development, she hired to free up her time, yet add tremendous value and capacity to her business.

By bringing scale to her services

Instead of being solely responsible for business development and delivering her services, she has learned to trust her team, and they’re directly involved in supporting clients. Many clients she doesn’t even speak to anymore because they’re in great hands with her team.

If you’re struggling with feeling like you’re making progress in your own business and you don’t want to be spinning your wheels each day and depleting your energy, then message me and let’s see how I might be able to help.

NOW is YOUR time.
